IBC Bonn Women's Workshop
Habits of Faith: Rooted in the Word, Anchored in Prayer Workshop
When: Saturday, June 27 from 10:00-15:00
Where: Upper Room of CVJM, Schiefflingsweg 27, 53123 Bonn
We will be encouraged to KNOW God’s Word, LIVE it out, and go and MENTOR others through Creative Prayer, Raking and Digging in the word.
What does this mean? As a Christian we want to build this habit of faith into our daily lives through prayer, reading of the word and fellowship with others. As Christian women, we need help to creatively apply and strengthen these habits during our ever changing seasons of life. Come be inspired to draw near to the Lord as you are going in life!
Please register by June 22 so that we can prepare your place and materials.
Disclaimer: We kindly ask that you make child care arrangements for babies and children so that we can all participate in the work of the workshops.

A Way With Words
Words matter.
With over 500,000 words in the English language, great is the potential to utter sayings that could wound another. Proverbs 10:19 says, “Where words are many, sin is not absent”. Cultural norms, family patterns, and personal blind spots add even more risk for our tongue to do damage.
So too, ample opportunity exists for us to utter sayings that woo the heart of another. Another Proverb tells us the “right word at the right time is like a custom-made piece of jewelry” (25:11).
In these days together, we will look at biblical ways to transform our speech so we build up with our speech instead of tearing down with our tongues.
