Your home in Bonn,

your family in Christ

Join us this Sunday as we come together as one people from all cultures to glorify God and encourage each other.

WHAT DOES A TYPICAL SUNDAY LOOK LIKE?

People of all ages, languages, and backgrounds called together - not to consume - but to give glory to God and make disciples of Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit.

When we meet on Sundays, we make our best effort to communicate the story of the good news of Jesus Christ clearly from beginning to end. Being an international church, come prepared to appreciate the diversity of faces, languages, and backgrounds united by the redeeming love of Jesus, who saved us from sin and death.

We believe in God.

God’s word is His true self-revelation. So, in all things it should be at the center of both our corporate and private lives; our prayers, songs, preaching, service, and fellowship should all be energized and motivated by God’s perfect word.

We respond in praise and obedience.

There is no other valid response to God’s glory, grace, love, provision, justice, and holiness than to give Him our praises with all that we are and all that we have, and to respond in obedience.

We know Him through His word.

God has revealed Himself through His word and His creation. He is the one true God and all people everywhere should acknowledge Him and worship Him only.

We live it out together.

We need each other. Each week - each day -we need the prayer, encouragement, and fellowship of fellow members of the local church.

FAQs

How long does the service usually last?

Our service begins at 10:30 and ends usually at 12:30, but we encourage you to stay a bit longer and enjoy the fellowship. We recommend you to plan your trip arriving at 10:15, this gives you plenty time to find parking or have a conversation

Where can I find parking?

We have a limited number of parking spots just next to the building. The nearby Ludwig-Richter-Straße is the most likely street with additional parking options.

What programs do you have for children?

We believe that children are an important part of our church and are welcomed to stay and learn with us, so expect to hear some children noises during the service. After the preaching, children are invited to join the kids class.

Is translation available?

Our services are held in english and simultaneous translation to german is only available on the last sunday of the month.

What is the preaching like?

The preaching at IBC Bonn seeks to explain the truths of Scripture clearly and apply it to real life, and as a church we study the whole Bible, one book at a time. In practice this means not skipping hard passages, and learning how to study and apply the Gospel truths from Genesis to Revelation. You will want to bring a Bible to follow along.

A word from our pastor.

We are a local church, an expression of the global Church of Christ. God has given the local church as a place for our christian worship.
It is here where together we hear the Gospel, we accept it, live it out and hold each other accountable.
If you are wondering if IBC Bonn is the kind of place you want to be, I hope that you will jump on board and join us as we pursue Christ together.
